S4 Blog Post #1: Bob Lazar - The Original Whistleblower

Updated: Dec 31, 2023

For the inaugural launch of AREA S4 website my first blog is about Bob Lazar. The inspiration for the domain name was the super secret site called Area S4 located 15 miles south of the famous Area 51 in Nevada. This was (and we will never know if it still is) where Bob claimed he tried to reverse-engineer an alien flying saucer.

Born on January 26, 1959, Lazar's background includes educational pursuits in physics and electronics. While he gained notoriety for his assertions about his involvement in clandestine government projects, his credibility has been a subject of intense debate and skepticism.

Lazar's story first hit the headlines in 1989 during an interview with reporter George Knapp on a Las Vegas TV station, KLAS. In this interview, Lazar said he had a job as a physicist at a super secret site called S4, where he supposedly tried to reverse-engineer an alien flying saucer. He claimed that through archelogical finds the government had gotten its hands on nine alien crafts and was studying them. Lazar main job was to understand the propulsion of the craft. He said that the technology does not exist as the crafts flew by manipulating gravitational field via an anti-gravitational reactor. He also described how the craft looked outside and added how small everything was inside.

Lazar claimed that the technology he dealt with relied on the use of Element 115, a substance not recognized at the time. According to Lazar, this element played a pivotal role in the propulsion systems of the alien spacecraft. Fast forward many years, scientists eventually synthesized Element 115 and officially included it in the periodic table in 2003, substantiating Lazar's assertions. There have been rumors that Lazar got hold of this exotic material. Due to this rumor he been raided by the authorities many times.

Critics have scrutinized Lazar's background, pointing out inconsistencies and discrepancies in his educational and professional history. Well, if the government want to make people disappear they proved they could, especially back in the 1980s when documentations can be burned and there is no digital backup. One thing to note is that Lazar had always made it known that he was never the top notched scientist they hired and that they could have hired a lot more qualifying candidates for this job.

There have been some ridiculous claims that he couldn't remember his professor's name... um I can't remember any of my professor names nor do I want to. Others claimed he hung out at local bars and enhanced what he heard. That claim itself is laughable and Joe Rogan smell BS when a guest told him that on his show. Others have tried to smear him on some naughty younger Las Vegas days incident, but hey, that's Vegas and totally irrelevant.

Lazar faced a lot of criticism, especially from a well-known scientist who repeatedly belittled him. This scientist argued that people from MIT wouldn't even consider attending Lazar's college. Well, if the FBI erased his records, he too would end up in Lazar's college and not even exists without a birth certificate. The issue for the UFO community is that this kind of mockery makes it hard to shake off the stigma. Whistleblowers like Lazar endure ridicule, harassment, punishment, and harm, yet they are the true heroes in this field.

In conclusion, Bob Lazar's story is complex and contentious, filled with intrigue and skepticism. Despite facing harsh criticism from many, Bob Lazar has remained remarkably consistent in his narrative for decades. He continues to be harassed by authorities and individuals who label him a hoaxer. To many UFO enthusiasts, he will always be the original UFO whistleblower who exposed the government's biggest secret for the good of all humanity. In light of recent news, it's becoming increasingly apparent that Bob Lazar is the real deal.
